The Barron family home that we visited during the past two issues continues to speak of the elegant comfort and beauty exhibited in the rest of the house. This remainder of the house, including the master bedroom and bathroom, rear patio, garden and – last, but not least! -- front entrance, all have the same color scheme, the same style and shades of wood and fabric. Interestingly, the onlooker does not miss any of the other colors!

The focal point of the Master bedroom on the first floor would have to be… the ceiling. While the walls have a distressed look, the ceiling has been hand painted in deep green with a geometrical shape. Lamps are ornate, with a traditional look. Furniture is a solid dark wood. A window seat makes for a cozy reading corner. The master bathroom echoes the same color and texture concepts in the tub and cabinetry.

As we are walking outside, we find ourselves in a covered patio adjacent to an outdoor spiral wrought-iron staircase. Very comfortably equipped with the necessary furniture and fixtures, it makes for an inviting look. The patio leads us to a charming garden.

The garden presents bursts of color via plantings in the numerous urns dotting the area. Ornamental cabbages and geraniums are amongst the plants. Benches are thoughtfully placed in a couple of areas. Finally, we come back around to the front of the house, finding ourselves admiring the doorway. It is spectacular….imposing double doors in wood and wrought-iron open to welcome visitors in the house.

Splendid! It is now time to exit the Barron’s wonderful home…Next time, do join us to walk through a collector’s dream home in the Corinthian Bay, Greece!
