Pipe Cleaner Flowers PDF Print E-mail
Written by Nikky Nag

You will need:
Pipe-cleaners of assorted colors and thickness,
available at any craft store.

Caution:
Be careful of the sharp ends of the pipe cleaners!
Pipe Cleaner
Flowers

Method:
For the flower: Starting at one end of a pipe cleaner, simply hold with both hands and twist to make
petals. Be creative and try and shape your petals to resemble different types of flowers as shown in the
picture. Wrap the end around the center.

For the stem: Pick a pipe-cleaner in any shade of green. About 1/3 of the way, twist it into a leaf shape
twice, spreading the leaves to either side of the stem. Attach this to the flower by ‘hooking’ the top
end of the stem to the back of the flower.

To assemble:
Place some play dough in a small empty plastic tub and stick each stem in. Press the dough around the
stems to secure. This will hold the flowers in place.
